Why You Should Use Quality Antivirus Software?
Internet security software provides antivirus protection while also keeping you safe while you surf the internet, whether you are banking, shopping or playing online
Why does Microsoft Windows get infected? It’s no wonder that Microsoft Windows is the most common platform for malware. For example, the number of new malicious programs targeting Windows 7 is far higher than the number targeting non-Windows users. If, like most computer users, you use a Windows Operating System, you need internet security software to keep you safe. Whatever internet security software you choose, make sure it is compatible with your Windows Operating System, whether it be Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP Home Edition or XP Professional. Using internet security programs from a specialist software security company such as Kaspersky will ensure you have a product that covers your needs. For example, Kaspersky’s security software is Windows 7 compatible and covers all the Windows Operating Systems mentioned above. Virus And Spyware Removal

What symptoms you may get if your computer is infected
It’s not always easy to tell if your computer has been infected. More than ever before, the authors of viruses, worms, trojans and spyware are going to great lengths to hide their code and conceal what their programs are doing on an infected computer. Here are just a few examples: Your computer behaves strangely, i.e. in a way that you haven’t seen before. You see unexpected messages or images. Programs start unexpectedly. Your firewall tells you that an application has tried to connect to the Internet (and it’s not a program that you ran). Your friends tell you that they have received email messages from you and you haven’t sent them anything. Your computer ‘freezes’ frequently, or programs start running slowly. You get lots of system error messages. The operating system will not load when you start your computer. You notice that files or folders have been deleted or changed. You notice hard disk access (shown by one of the small flashing lights) when you’re not aware of any programs running. Your web browser behaves erratically, e.g. you can’t close a browser window
What are viruses, trojans and spyware? A worm is a computer program that replicates, but does not infect other files. Instead, it installs itself once on a computer and then looks for a way to spread to other computers.
A trojan is a program that poses as legitimate software but when launched will do something harmful. Trojans can't spread by themselves, which is what distinguishes them from viruses and worms.
As Internet and e-mail become an ever-increasing part of our lives, the dangers and risks that come with them are increasing too. Make sure you are properly protected
